Volunteer call out

An installation doesn’t start when you put it in. It’s actually the processes. It’s the process of going into the space, the process of meeting people. It’s so many people’s thoughts and ideas. Bruce Munro

Over 16, 000 stemmed glass spheres will be planted along the Avenue, turning the notion of memorial into an emotional experience. But as they say, many hands make light work and the Field of Light: Avenue of Honour will require the collaboration of many to become realised. This is why we need you!

Volunteering to be part of this significant commemorative project will provide you with an experience not to be forgotten; meeting likeminded people & being a part of this historic installation.

If you’re a local, have an Anzac in your family or roots in the regions rich history and want to be involved in the Field of Light: Avenue of Honour, we want to speak to you. Three volunteer positions are available, each of which will assist in a different way. Whether you would like to help install the lights, support the team, or welcome visitors, read through the Volunteer Descriptions below and get in touch.

To sign up today, please read the following documents, and sign and return the Application Form and Volunteer Description to the volunteer coordinator at volunteer@fieldoflightalbany.com.au
